"Quiet Rain on Duty" 2026 Oil on canvas 36x36”
Quiet Rain on Duty captures the solitary stillness of the coastline under damp skies. Perched above the vivid green dunes, the lifeguard tower becomes an anchor of human responsibility amidst the soft, drizzle-laden air. Translucent geometric bands float across the sky and foreground, acting as perceptual filters that frame the wet landscape through a lens of modern mediation. Suspended between civil safety and the vast, indifferent ocean, the empty station embodies a stoic vigil—a silent testament to watchfulness, solitude, and quiet duty.
