"Sunlight Guardian" 36x36 "Oil, Framed, 2026
Sunlight Guardian stands as a vibrant locus of order and watchfulness along the shoreline. Bathed in brilliant midday light, the bright yellow lifeguard tower casts a long, sharp shadow across the pale beach, anchoring human presence against the vast coastal plain. Along the right edge, a translucent vertical filter slices through the composition, shifting the hues of the clouds and sea as they pass behind its boundary. The work plays on the balance between physical structure and fleeting light—framing the tower as an elevated, solitary sentinel standing duty between the safety of the sand and the infinite ocean.
