"Fragmented Majestic" 48x40 " , 2026
Oil on four joined panels, multi-panel polyptych
Fragmented Majestic breaks the traditional rectangular boundary of the frame, using a stepped four-panel construction to match the monumental scale of the sky. A towering, fiery cloud surges upward in rich golds and oranges, sharply intersected by a dark vertical filter that cuts through its center. The physical fragmentation of the panels mirrors the series’ core exploration: our impulse to capture, piece together, and rationalize the grand, overwhelming forces of nature through the structured, incomplete lens of human memory and perception.
